The Remote Acting Oil Fire Valve plays an important role in oil heating system safety by automatically closing when exposed to high temperatures. Recommended under BS5410 guidance, this oil supply line fire valve helps reduce fire risk by isolating the main fuel supply and stopping additional fuel from reaching the source of a fire.

This remote acting fire valve uses a capillary sensor that responds to excessive heat. When triggered, the valve closes tightly to stop fuel flow from the storage tank, helping limit fire spread and potential damage.

Designed as an oil tank fire shut off valve, the unit closes as a precaution when the sensor reaches its activation temperature. Once closed, the valve remains shut until manually reset, ensuring safe operation after a fire event.
