The CTS ATEX Approved Fuel Tank Alarm is purpose built for installations where flammable liquids are stored and safety is critical. This atex tank alarm provides dependable warning of high fluid levels and the presence of liquid in the bund, helping to reduce the risk of overfills, leaks and environmental contamination.

Designed for Hazardous Area Use

ATEX approved for Zone 1 II2G Ex ia IIB T4 Gb, this fuel tank level alarm is suitable for use on tanks containing flammable liquids when paired with a compatible probe. It offers a compliant monitoring solution for sites where explosive atmospheres may be present, giving operators confidence in both safety and performance.

High Level and Bund Leak Protection

This system functions as both a high level alert and bund alarm, notifying the user if fluid is detected within the bund which may indicate a leak or rainwater ingress. These dual alerts support safer fuel storage and help prevent costly clean up and damage.

Powerful Visual and Audible Warning

A flashing red LED provides a clear visual signal, while the 95dB sounder delivers a strong audible alarm. When triggered, the alarm sounds continuously for 120 seconds, followed by a periodic beep for up to 60 minutes to ensure the warning is not missed.

Battery Powered for Flexible Installation

Powered by battery, this unit is ideal for portable installations or locations where mains power is not available. Integrated test battery, test alarm and alarm cancel functions make it easy to maintain and confirm correct operation on site. The alarm automatically cancels and resets when the zone is deactivated.

Compatible with Different Fuels and Fluids

Commonly used as a diesel tank alarm, a version is available supplied with a probe suitable for diesel and kerosene tanks. For other fluids such as petrol and spirits, a version without a probe can be used in conjunction with a third party ATEX probe with a solid stem, allowing the system to be adapted to different applications.

Installation Notes

Housed in a robust IP65 metal enclosure, the unit is built for use in demanding environments. All cables must be free of electrical noise to ensure accurate signal transmission and reliable alarm performance.
