The Normond C Series Fuel Tank Gauge is a proven hydrostatic measuring device widely used across commercial sites for dependable tank monitoring. Designed as a mechanical fuel tank level gauge, it operates using a simple hand pump mechanism, eliminating the need for electricity and making it particularly suitable for hazardous locations.

Power Free Operation for Hazardous Areas

This tank level indicator uses a manual hand pump system to measure tank contents, allowing it to function safely in environments where electrical equipment may not be suitable. Its non powered design ensures consistent performance while reducing installation complexity and maintenance requirements.

Flexible Measurement Options

The gauge provides readings in volume, weight or height, allowing it to be configured to suit operational preference. As a calibrated fuel tank contents gauge, each unit is tailored to the specific tank dimensions to ensure accurate measurement and reliable monitoring.

Suitable for a Wide Range of Tank Sizes

With the standard capillary balance chamber, the unit is suitable for tanks up to 3 metres high. When used with optional alternative balance chambers, the diesel tank gauge can be installed on tanks up to 9 metres high, offering flexibility for larger storage installations.

Remote Installation Capability

The system can be positioned up to 120 metres away from the tank, allowing for convenient reading locations such as control rooms or service areas while still maintaining accurate measurement via the balance chamber system.

Built for Commercial Fluid Monitoring

Designed for use with diesel, kerosene and other compatible fluids, the unit includes a stainless steel weight on the balance chamber and durable PVC capillary, supporting long term operation in demanding environments. Please note that no balance chamber is included on the C Series High version.

Made to Order Calibration

Each gauge must be individually calibrated to the tank size. A calibration questionnaire must be completed when ordering and returned as instructed. As these calibrated gauges are produced to specification, there may be a lead time of 5 to 10 working days.
